Coordinator- Land

Team Management:

· Oversee and support customer service executives, loading specialists, pricing specialists, and field staff. Provide guidance and resolve shipment-related issues promptly.

· Training new and existing staff on customer service best practices, compliance requirements, and operational procedures.

Customer Engagement:

· Follow up on inquiries and obtain client confirmation for quotes (land freight contracts) via email. For new customers, request trade license/ VAT certificate/ Credit application from finance or sales and check credit limits with finance. If the client is handled by the specialist, request same documents from the customer and communicate management's decision to the client.

· Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance operational efficiency.

· Give awareness to the CRM if there are any drop in volume/ no of shipments to investigate the reasons.

Quotation Management:

· Prepare and send quotations to clients when fully managed by the specialist. Ensure all credit, quotation, and acceptance processes are followed.

Process Compliance:

· Adhere to internal systematic procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensure proper briefing of all jobs to reportees. Confirm all shipping documents and supplier details are in order, coordinating with pricing and loading specialists.

· In case of an accident, report the incident to the insurance provider & submit required documents to process the claim.

Regulatory Compliance:

· Stay updated on UAE import & Export trade regulations and requirements & advise team members regarding regulatory changes.

· Ensure all land freight operations comply with local, national, and international transportation regulations.

Record Maintenance:

· Ensure that team is maintaining comprehensive records of suppliers, drivers, custom clearing agents, lessons learned, and solutions implemented.

Collaboration and Coordination:

· Work closely with other departments such as sales & finance to ensure smooth operation in Land freight department.

· Quickly and effectively address any issues that arise during land freight operations, such as delays, vehicle breakdowns, or route changes.

· Record issues & lessons learnt for future reference.

· Ensure smooth and timely transportation of goods by managing customer service, custom clearance & land transport operations

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to land freight operations, such as on-time delivery rates, Team performance, vehicle utilization , & Job cycle time.

Requirements:

· Demonstrates proficiency in core job responsibilities.

· With overall experience of minimum 4 years in managing Land freight shipments from the beginning to the end.

· Has leadership experience, including managing teams or projects.

· Required relevant education background or experience in the Land Freight .

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
