Copper Pipefitter

Berger Engineering Company located in Carrollton, Texas is a leader in the commercial, institutional and industrial mechanical contracting field. We are in search for Copper Pipefitters who has experience in working in a commercial HVAC environment. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow company safety policies
• Demonstrate proper use of Personal Protective Equipment.
• Piping knowledge of VAV’s and Air Handling units.
• Sweat and Solder Copper.
• Be willing to learn and take direction.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Possess general knowledge of hand tools and their use.
• Mechanical ability.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Be able to identify material for piping copper.
• Commercial HVAC experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of fire safety

REQUIREMENTS:

• 1-2 years of experience desired.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly
• Must be able to drive in hazardous weather conditions
• Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions
