About the role

An Assistant Manager, Copywriting bridges creative storytelling and team leadership. This mid-to-senior role crafts persuasive marketing copy, manages content calendars, and supports the Creative Director. They also supervise junior writers, enforce brand tone, and collaborate with cross-functional design and marketing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Craft clear, persuasive, and error-free copy across multiple channels (e.g., websites, social media, email campaigns, landing pages)
• Translate creative briefs into actionable, high-engagement marketing concepts that reflect brand pillars
• Assist in supervising, training, and guiding the junior copywriting team, as well as reviewing their work for quality and consistency
• Work closely with design, PR, CRM, and product teams to ensure unified brand messaging
• Conduct market and product research and optimize web copy to meet SEO best practices and maximize organic reach
• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for improvement
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously, ensuring all deadlines and stakeholder expectations are met

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional copywriting experience, with a proven portfolio showcasing a variety of content types
• Supervisory or agency experience is a strong plus
• Impeccable grammar, proofreading skills, and an exceptional ability to adapt tone to target different demographics
• Familiarity with Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress), SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush), and analytics platforms
• Strong capability in managing workflow, providing constructive feedback, and enforcing brand style guides
• Creative thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
