Copywriter

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Copywriter. The Copywriter will craft clear, engaging, and accurate written content for various Ministry of Education channels, including websites, social media, press releases, campaigns, and official announcements. Daily tasks include drafting and revising copy, proofreading and editing materials for grammar and tone, and aligning content with organizational guidelines and strategic communication goals. The role involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand key messages, adapting complex information into accessible language, and ensuring consistency across all public-facing content. The Copywriter is expected to manage deadlines independently while maintaining high editorial standards.

Qualifications

• Strong Writing and Proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and error-free copy.
• Experience with Press Releases and formal communication tailored to media and public audiences.
• Effective Communication and Marketing skills to support campaigns and outreach initiatives.
• Excellent command of written English; proficiency in Arabic is highly beneficial.
• Familiarity with public sector or educational content is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of digital platforms and content management tools is a plus.
