About the role :
Food By Minutes is Flipkart's food delivery venture. We are building a brand that people notice, trust and come back to, and words are a big part of how we do that. You will own the voice of Food By Minutes across every customer touchpoint: the homepage, the app, push notifications, emails, social, performance ads, in-store and packaging collateral, and campaign launches.

This is a hands-on, high-output role. You will write daily, iterate quickly on feedback and see your work go live within hours. You will work closely with design, product, performance marketing and brand to make sure everything we say sounds like one brand.

What you will do :

1. Own all customer-facing copy for the Food By Minutes homepage, app screens, banners, menus and category pages
2. Write marketing collateral end to end: campaign concepts, ad copy (Meta, Google, YouTube, OOH), emailers, push notifications, SMS and WhatsApp messaging
3. Build and maintain the brand voice and tone guide, and ensure every piece of communication follows it
4. Partner with performance marketing to write, test and refine copy variants that improve CTR and conversion
5. Write product and offer descriptions that make food sound as good as it tastes, and are accurate and compliant
6. Work with designers to shape layouts where the headline, body and CTA work together
7. Turn briefs from growth, product and partnerships into clear, persuasive messaging within tight timelines
8. Track what works using campaign data and apply learnings to the next round
9. Localise and adapt copy for regional audiences where required

What we are looking for :

1. 3 to 6 years of copywriting experience, ideally in a consumer internet, food, D2C or quick commerce brand, or at an agency serving these clients
2. A portfolio showing strong long-form and short-form work: landing pages, ad campaigns, CRM copy and social
3. Ability to write in a warm, witty and conversational tone while staying sharp and clear
4. Comfort writing for performance: you understand hooks, CTAs and why one headline beats another
5. Strong command of English; working knowledge of Hindi or Kannada is a plus
6. Ability to take feedback fast and turn around multiple iterations in a day
7. Ownership mindset: you care about the outcome, not just the deliverable
8. A genuine interest in food and food culture

Nice to have :

1. Experience writing for a mobile-first app with a large, diverse user base
2. Exposure to A/B testing tools or CRM platforms (CleverTap, MoEngage, Braze or similar)
3. Basic understanding of SEO principles for web copy
4. Experience building a brand voice from an early stage
