About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Social Media Copywriter to help transform AI-generated drafts into natural, engaging, and conversion-focused video ad scripts.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong understanding of social media content, trends, and short-form video formats who is eager to grow within performance marketing. You will receive clear creative direction, product information, established templates, and access to a custom AI scriptwriting workflow. Your role will be to apply sound judgment and a strong social-media instinct to ensure each script feels human, compelling, and aligned with the intended audience.

You will report to the Founder and collaborate closely with a Project Manager.

Responsibilities

• Use an established Claude-based AI workflow to generate first drafts of video ad scripts based on strategic direction, messaging, product details, and creative briefs.
• Review and refine AI-generated scripts to make them sound natural, clear, engaging, and appropriate for social media.
• Improve hooks, body copy, proof points, calls to action, pacing, and overall script flow to maximize audience attention and conversion potential.
• Adapt scripts to feel native to Meta, Instagram, and TikTok while following the intended ad format, angle, and messaging.
• Conduct research on social media trends, competitor creative, ad formats, and content styles to inform stronger copy and creative ideas.
• Use provided checklists, templates, and guidelines to ensure every script includes the elements required for effective direct-response advertising.
• Identify opportunities to improve the copywriting process, AI workflows, templates, and documentation over time.
• Manage assigned work through the company’s custom dashboard and communicate progress proactively with the team.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience creating or writing content for social media, short-form video, paid social ads, UGC-style content, or similar digital formats.
• Strong understanding of what makes content feel engaging and native to platforms such as Meta, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Ability to write and edit clear, natural, audience-appropriate English copy.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to improve AI-generated content using critical thinking and good judgment.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Exposure to direct-response marketing, paid social advertising, e-commerce, or performance creative.
• Experience writing hooks, video scripts, ad copy, captions, or conversion-focused content.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Claude or ChatGPT for content creation and editing.
• Experience researching competitors, social media trends, or high-performing ad creative.

Benefits and Work Modality

• Compensation: $1,500–$2,200 USD per month, depending on experience.
• Full-time, 100% remote contractor role for candidates based in Latin America.
• Schedule: 9 am CST - 5 pm CST (Flexible)
• PTO and U.S. holidays
