Copywriter

As a Copywriter, you’ll be tasked with taking on big, sticky business challenges—tackling them with pen, paper and an open mind that uses curiosity as your fuel. You’ll bring curiosity, creativity, and a sharp point of view to every brief, developing concepts that stand out and copy that drives action. From the first spark of an idea to the final execution, you’ll have the craft to make it compelling and the determination to bring it to life. The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of creative agency experience, a strong portfolio of original thinking, and the drive to make great work happen.

This is an in-person role based at our Minneapolis office, and candidates must be local to the Twin Cities area, in office at least three days per week.

THE TASK AT HAND

• Create audience-first ideas and messaging that shows a deep curiosity around different hobbies and pursuits
• Generate bold concepts, platforms, and copy in a fast-paced, team-centric environment
• Craft deep core insights that inspire executions of all shapes and sizes
• Translate product proof points into compelling consumer benefits
• Adapt a brand’s personality across channels and mediums
• Demonstrate a clear aptitude for 360 thinking including earned ideas, experiential activations, social executions, as well as traditional creative.
• Proactively collaborate with teammates to creatively solve problems
• Deliver copy to the team in a timely and effective manner, meeting all deadlines
• Take feedback and direction from the team or client
• Commit to connecting people and brands in new and innovative ways
• Compellingly pitch and sell creative work to both the internal team and clients

WHO YOU ARE

• 3-6 years as a copywriter in a brand advertising or marketing environment
• Passionate about people and spaces that you might not (yet) be a part of
• Owner of a strong portfolio, demonstrating an ability to craft and build creative campaigns and solves with insight
• A critical thinker, detail-oriented, passionate, motivated, ambitious, resourceful
• Organized, open-minded, and capable of delivering results in a fast-paced and creative environment
• Has eyes and ears for spotting creative opportunity—both large and small
• Ability to concept and execute across all mediums
• Willing and eager to prioritize diversity and inclusion, especially when working with external and internal partners

This role offers a salary range of $60,000 to $80,000* per year.

Similarly, there may be a more senior or junior position available that would be a better fit with your expertise. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's experience, skills, and qualifications as they relate to the requirements of the position.
