Copywriter (freelance or full time)

Your mission

We need someone to write the words that carry our brand into the market, every week, across every channel. This is production work at a high standard. Positioning, messaging and tone of voice are defined for you, your job is to apply them consistently and make them work in each format.

• LinkedIn company posts, several per week, across both products
• LinkedIn posts ghostwritten for our founders and team members, in their own voice
• Paid social copy for Meta and LinkedIn campaigns, including variants for testing
• Short form video scripts and captions
• Landing pages for products, use cases and campaigns
• Product and feature pages, rewrites of existing pages as positioning develops
• SEO aware copy, working from a keyword brief
• Email: nurture sequences, newsletters, outbound sales emails, event follow ups
• Sales material: deck copy, one pagers, case studies
• Event material for trade fairs, including booth copy and print
• PR and thought leadership drafts, written for a named author
• Product copy where marketing and product meet, for example onboarding and in product text

Your profile

These two points are mandatory:

• Native level German and near native written English, with an exceptional command of the language. You write original copy in both, German copy is written in German, not translated, and your English stands on its own.
• At least two years of professional experience as a copywriter

Also:

• Proven B2B copywriting experience, ideally for software, data or technical products
• Able to write in different voices, including someone else's
• Comfortable with short form performance copy and with longer website and thought leadership pieces
• You ask questions before writing rather than after
• Reliable on deadlines, volume matters as much as quality in this role
• Available for a steady, substantial commitment, whether as a freelancer or as an employee

Nice to have:

• SEO experience
• Experience writing for paid social where copy is tested against performance data
• Experience with real estate, media, retail or market research audiences

As a copywriter here, you are not working on a single product, you are shaping how a growing B2B software company sounds across multiple verticals. You get real briefing material instead of vague direction, work closely with our Marketing Manager and Vlatko, our Head of GTM, and see directly how your copy performs. We are deliberately building around one person who stays and grows with the product, not a rotating set of writers, and that holds whether you join as a freelancer or full time.
