Copywriter / Sr. Copywriter

About the role

Gushcloud Thailand is looking for a culturally curious and social-first Copywriter who understands how brands communicate in the world of creators, communities, and fast-moving digital culture. In this role, you will turn brand challenges and audience insights into campaign ideas, content concepts, and copy that captivate audiences. You will work alongside Art Directors, Strategists, Client Services, Media, and Influencer Marketing teams to create work across social media, influencer-led campaigns, digital content, video, activations, and integrated marketing campaigns. This role requires hands-on experience in both social media content and influencer marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Client Services, Strategy, Creative, and other cross-functional teams to understand each brand's objectives, audience, communication challenges, and project requirements
• Develop campaign concepts and creative ideas in partnership with Art Directors for social-first, digital, and integrated campaigns
• Write engaging Thai and English copy for social media, influencer campaigns, branded content, video scripts, digital ads, activations, websites, and other campaign materials
• Turn consumer and cultural insights into clear, relevant, and compelling messages across different digital touchpoints
• Adapt ideas and copy to suit different platforms, content formats, audiences, and brand personalities
• Present creative concepts and clearly communicate the thinking and rationale behind the copy to internal teams and clients
• Maintain a consistent tone of voice and ensure every piece of copy is engaging, on-brand, and aligned with the campaign objective
• Edit, proofread, and quality-check written materials for accuracy, clarity, and consistency
• Stay current on social media trends, consumer behavior, pop culture, and emerging platforms to bring fresh perspectives to the work
• Manage multiple briefs, feedback rounds, and deadlines effectively while maintaining a high standard of creative output

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Communication Arts, Advertising, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field is preferred
• 2–4 years of experience in copywriting, creative content, or a related creative role within an advertising, digital, social media, or influencer marketing environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating social-first content, campaign ideas, and conceptual thinking
• Proven experience creating social media content and developing ideas for creator/influencer-led campaigns
• Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to develop big ideas and content concepts, not just captions and executional copy
• Excellent Thai writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a strong understanding of tone, nuance, and cultural relevance
• Ability to understand English briefs and work-related materials, with sufficient English proficiency to collaborate in a regional environment
• Strong understanding of social platforms, creators, digital culture, and emerging content trends
• Ability to work collaboratively with Art Directors, Strategists, Client Services, and other specialists
• Ability to manage multiple projects and feedback rounds while maintaining quality and attention to detail
