About the Role

On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, We are looking for a Core Network Solution Architect to support the development and positioning of mobile core network solutions for telecom customers in the UAE.

The role combines technical solution design, customer engagement, pre-sales support, bidding and competitive analysis, with a strong focus on 4G/5G Core, IMS and related core-network technologies.

The successful candidate will work closely with customers, sales teams, technical teams and internal stakeholders to understand customer requirements, develop scenario-based solutions, prepare technical and commercial inputs, and support opportunities from solution design through bidding and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and industry scenarios to develop appropriate Core Network solutions.
• Design scenario-based solutions covering mobile Core Network technologies, including 4G EPC, 5G Core and related IMS/core-network domains.
• Provide technical guidance and solution recommendations to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Prepare solution configurations, technical proposals, quotations, bid responses and related documentation.
• Support RFI/RFP/RFQ and tender activities, including solution design, technical clarification and competitive analysis.
• Support the development and execution of representative-office-level customer projects and solution opportunities.
• Coordinate with sales, product, engineering, delivery and other relevant teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible and aligned with customer requirements.
• Analyze market and competitor information and contribute to competitive strategy development.
• Develop and maintain relationships with technical customer stakeholders and support customer engagement activities.
• Identify customer pain points and translate business and technical requirements into practical network solutions.
• Support solution operations throughout the opportunity and project lifecycle.
• Contribute to solution standardization, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of solution practices.

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Telecommunications, Communications Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Core Network, telecom solutions, solution architecture, pre-sales or solution sales.
• Strong knowledge of Core Network solutions and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of 4G EPC and 5G Core technologies.
• Good knowledge of IMS and related voice/core-network solutions.
• Experience with core-network technologies such as CS/IMS, PS/EPC, 5G Core and PCRF/PCF.
• Strong capability in Core Network solution design and technical/competitive analysis.
• Experience preparing technical solutions, configurations, quotations and bid/tender responses.
• Basic commercial and business solution-design capabilities.
• Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.

Huawei-Specific Requirements

• Familiarity with Huawei Core Network solutions and products.
• Familiarity with Huawei MTL and LTC processes is preferred.
• Experience with Huawei Core Network solutions, solution sales or related internal processes will be an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in telecom operator-facing solution development or pre-sales.
• Experience with Huawei, Nokia, Ericsson, ZTE or other major telecom vendors.
• Experience supporting large telecom RFP/RFQ/tender opportunities.
• Experience in competitive analysis and customer solution positioning.
• Experience working with 4G/5G Core evolution and related technologies.
