Core Pharmacy Technician – Filler

Job Summary:

Proveri Pharmacy Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Core Pharmacy Technician – Filler to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will independently support medication filling, prescription processing, medication preparation, and cycle fill workflows for long-term care and hospice patients. The Core Technician plays an important role in maintaining efficient pharmacy operations while supporting pharmacists, technicians, and facility staff.

We are willing to hire newly licensed graduates, who would start at $18.00 - $20.00 per hour.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently performs routine technician duties, including medication filling, prescription processing, order entry, medication preparation, medication packaging, refill follow-up, inventory restocking, cycle fill workflow, and delivery coordination.
• Communicates with nurses, facilities, patients, caregivers, and pharmacy staff regarding non-clinical issues.
• Identifies insurance, billing, refill, medication access, and workflow issues and escalates appropriately.
• Helps train entry-level technicians and supports high-volume dispensing periods.
• Demonstrates reliability, accuracy, and consistent productivity with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license/registration.
• Pharmacy technician experience preferred; newly licensed graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
