About Us

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Corporate Accountant to join a growing finance team. This role offers broad exposure across financial accounting, corporate reporting, taxation support, and business performance analysis within a multi-entity environment. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting compliance obligations, tax accounting, and contributing to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Support the preparation and posting of accounting journals, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with tax-related accounting calculations, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
• Support the preparation of corporate tax compliance documentation and statutory reporting schedules.
• Assist with intercompany accounting processes, reconciliations, and transaction reviews.
• Contribute to the preparation of consolidated financial information across multiple entities.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities, ensuring reporting deadlines are met.
• Assist with fixed asset accounting, capital expenditure tracking, and depreciation calculations.
• Collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
• Support external audits and assist in the preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and finance-related projects as required.

Your Profile

• Relevant accounting degree or equivalent practical experience.
• CA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification (completed or currently in progress) will be highly regarded.
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a corporate or commercial environment.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles, month-end close processes, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Practical experience in tax accounting, including tax-effect accounting, tax compliance, and related reporting activities.
• Sound understanding of joint venture (JV) accounting principles, including partner billings, cost allocations, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Experience with financial consolidations and multi-entity reporting environments.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, data analysis, and financial reporting.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP or other large-scale enterprise platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across finance and operational teams.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical capability, and a commitment to accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, well-organised, and capable of working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
