Corporate Actions Analyst

Are you someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys working with numbers, and takes pride in getting the detail right, every time? Do you also have an interest in how dividend and interest income is taxed and processed? Forsyth Barr is looking for a Corporate Actions Analyst to join our Corporate Actions team.

In this role, you'll process corporate actions relating to securities held in custody, ensuring everything is recorded accurately and within tight timeframes. You'll take ownership of reconciling and recording investment income, including dividends, interest and distributions, while also tracking corporate actions using Excel and liaising with advisers, share registries, and overseas brokers.

What we're looking for:

• Administration experience, ideally within a finance environment

• Strong numerical skills

• Excellent MS Excel skills, comfortable using Word and Outlook

• Confidence picking up new computer systems and maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Reconciliation experience is desirable

• Clear communication skills
