Corporate Associate / Senior Associate – London

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious private equity lawyer looking to further their career with a move to an outstanding global team offering at one of the most exciting periods of its growth.

Title: Associate / Senior Associate

Location: London | Hybrid working

Salary: £220,000 - £300,000+ bonus

PQE: 4 PQE +

Reports to: Partner

Experience: Excellent background in corporate law, particularly private equity from a highly regarded international corporate team.

We are keen to speak to qualified solicitors with a passion for high-profile private equity work. The team advise on a broad range of deals across an equally varied spread of core and emerging sectors including:

• Financial Services;
• Technology, Media, and Telecoms (TMT);
• Healthcare & Life Sciences: Biotech, pharma, healthcare providers, and cross-border transactions;
• Infrastructure & Energy;
• Real Estate; and
• Sports

Nature of work

You will play a key role advising private equity sponsors and financial institutions on complex transactional work, including:

• Leveraged buyouts
• Sponsor-led acquisitions and exits
• Structuring and negotiating management equity incentive plans
• Co-investment and rollover equity arrangements
• Shareholder agreements and corporate governance matters

The team advises on some of the most high-profile transactions in the London market, working with leading global investors across the full capital structure.

Candidate profile

Applications are welcomed from lawyers who have:

• 4 years’ PQE + from a leading international or UK firm
• Strong experience in private equity and M&A transactions
• Demonstrable experience in leveraged buyouts and sponsor transactions
• Experience structuring management equity and co-investment arrangements
• Strong technical skills combined with commercial judgement and excellent interpersonal ability
