🚨 Corporate Contracts Manager II – Clinical Contracts

📍 Alameda, CA – Onsite preferred | Hybrid available (3 days onsite/week)

We’re looking for an experienced Corporate Contracts Manager II to support a leading pharmaceutical organization in Alameda, CA.

This role is heavily focused on Clinical Study Agreements (CSAs) , so we’re specifically seeking candidates with hands-on experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating clinical contracts with external counterparties.

🔑 What You’ll Do

• Draft, redline, negotiate, and manage Clinical Study Agreements (CSAs) and Clinical Trial Agreements (CTAs)
• Support additional R&D and vendor-related contracting activities
• Negotiate agreements with external counterparties and service providers
• Identify and communicate contractual risks to internal stakeholders
• Partner with Research & Development and other cross-functional teams
• Track contracts through negotiation, approval, and signature
• Maintain accurate contract records and status updates within a Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system
• Support in-house attorneys with contract-related activities
• Manage multiple agreements and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2–3+ years of in-house contracts experience within biotech, pharmaceutical, clinical research, or a related industry
• Hands-on experience drafting, redlining, and negotiating CSAs/CTAs
• Experience negotiating directly with external counterparties
• Understanding of clinical research and pharmaceutical contracting
• Experience with a Contract Management/CLM system ; Agiloft is a plus
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

• Experience negotiating vendor agreements
• Experience working with external service providers
• Broader R&D contracting experience
• Knowledge of the drug discovery and development process
• Agiloft experience

Important: This position is not primarily contract administration . The hiring team is specifically looking for someone who has personally drafted, redlined, and negotiated clinical study agreements .
