Corporate Controller

CarsonLynch Professional Search is assisting our rapidly growing client recruit for their next Corporate Controller to lead and scale its accounting function. Reporting directly to the CFO, the Corporate Controller will serve as the accounting leader for the organization while overseeing a growing team and supporting a multi-entity business environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the accounting function for a fast-growing organization with ambitious growth plans.
• Manage, mentor, and develop an established accounting team.
• Oversee month-end close, financial reporting, consolidations, and technical accounting matters.
• Support a multi-entity organizational structure and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements, scalability initiatives, and operational efficiencies across the finance function.
• Partner closely with executive leadership to strengthen internal controls, financial reporting, and business processes.
• Evaluate team performance, optimize responsibilities, and help build a best-in-class accounting organization.
• Leverage technology, automation, and AI tools to improve productivity and reporting capabilities.

Ideal Background

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• CPA preferred.
• Progressive accounting leadership experience, including managing and developing teams.
• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting foundation.
• Experience within growing organizations undergoing transformation or significant growth.
• Exposure to multi-entity environments and consolidations.
• Strong business partnership and leadership skills.
• Comfortable operating in a hands-on, entrepreneurial environment.
• Interest in leveraging technology and automation to improve accounting processes.
