The Hanline Group is seeking a Corporate Controller to lead financial operations across our growing family of companies specializing in food manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain solutions.

This is more than a traditional accounting leadership role. You'll partner with executive leadership, strengthen financial performance, develop finance teams, and help drive strategic decisions across multiple operating companies.

What You'll Lead

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes, including consolidated financial statements.
• Ensure GAAP compliance, accurate reporting, and strong internal controls.
• Oversee general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, tax compliance, and external audits.

Financial Strategy & Business Performance

• Partner with leadership to translate financial results into actionable business insights.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, and financial performance analysis.
• Develop executive dashboards and KPIs to improve visibility into profitability, working capital, and operational performance.

Operational Excellence & Process Improvement

• Standardize accounting practices and reporting across operating companies.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes, improve financial accuracy, and strengthen controls.
• Support capital investment decisions and initiatives that improve cash flow and profitability.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor, and develop finance and accounting professionals.
• Establish clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards.
• Build a collaborative finance organization positioned to support continued growth.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive corporate accounting experience.
• Proven experience leading financial close and consolidated reporting across multiple entities.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial compliance.
• Experience managing external audits and working with executive leadership.
• Ability to translate complex financial information into clear business recommendations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
• CPA and MBA preferred.
