Corporate Development Associate

Blacklock Group are partnered with a renewable power generation platform who are looking to add a corporate development associate to their growing team. The team is focused on wind and solar.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior team members to identify and evaluate potential acquisition and

project financing opportunities

• Develop and manage complex financial models and valuation analyses
• Participate in all aspects of due diligence activities, including coordinating with

operational, commercial and legal teams and advisors to validate assumptions

• Work closely with financing counterparties including lenders and tax equity investors to support diligence activities, transaction structuring and legal document

negotiation

• Assist with the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for

executive management and the Board of Directors

• Conduct research and analysis to screen and qualify potential M&A opportunities
• Assist with the development of broader strategic initiatives and investment strategies

Requirements

Preferred Background

• 1-3 years of investment banking, private equity, corporate development, corporate

finance or management consulting experience

• Prior experience with M&A transactions strongly preferred
• BA/BS from a top university in Finance/Economics/Business/Accounting, or a

similarly quantitative/analytical field

• Experience in energy, infrastructure or commercial real estate is strongly preferred, but not required
