Corporate Development Associate / Manager

An international B2B software group is expanding its Corporate Development activities in Germany and is looking to hire a Corporate Development Associate / Manager to join its growing team.

The role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership on strategic acquisitions and play a key role in building the group's acquisition pipeline in Germany . A significant part of the position will involve identifying attractive acquisition targets, initiating conversations with potential targets, developing relationships and progressing opportunities from initial contact through the M&A process .

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential acquisition opportunities across the German software market, building relationships with potential targets and management teams.
• Support the full M&A process, from initial assessment and target engagement through due diligence, negotiations and transaction execution.
• Conduct market and company research and assess potential targets from strategic, commercial and financial perspectives.
• Prepare financial analyses, valuation models, business cases and investment materials for potential transactions.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors across financial, commercial and legal workstreams.
• Contribute to broader Corporate Development and strategic initiatives as the group's presence in Germany continues to expand.
