What they need

About the Opportunity

This is a standout opportunity to join a rapidly growing US-listed and UK-headquartered technology business where M&A is a core pillar of the company's growth strategy.

Working within a lean, high-performing Corporate Development team, you'll gain hands-on exposure across the full deal lifecycle, supporting acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures globally. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and external advisers, playing a visible role in transactions that directly shape the future growth of the business.

You'll be trusted to lead key transaction workstreams, manage stakeholder relationships, coordinate due diligence processes and support negotiations through to completion. Beyond transaction execution, you'll gain exposure to integration planning, synergy tracking and value creation initiatives, providing genuine end-to-end deal experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to move beyond pure analysis and gain broader commercial, strategic and execution exposure within a fast-growing, acquisitive organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end due diligence workstreams for acquisitions, managing the process through due diligence, SPA negotiation and completion.
  • Support the execution of acquisitions, strategic investments and joint ventures across the group.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for potential transactions.
  • Conduct valuation analyses, including comparable company, precedent transaction and scenario analyses.
  • Assist in the preparation of deal models, investment memorandums, term sheets and materials for senior management.
  • Support due diligence processes by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external advisers.
  • Track deal progress and maintain transaction documentation and data rooms.
  • Review SPA documentation and coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisers throughout the transaction process.
  • Conduct industry, market and target research to identify acquisition opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor positioning and potential transaction synergies.
  • Work closely with senior management, business unit leaders and external advisers across the transaction lifecycle.
  • Support post-acquisition integration analysis and performance tracking.

Candidate Profile

  • Experience gained within Corporate Development, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Transaction Services, Deal Advisory or a similarly transaction-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of M&A processes, financial statements and valuation methodologies.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analytical capabilities.
  • Experience supporting live transactions, due diligence processes and transaction execution activities.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior leaders and external advisers.
  • Highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of operating in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commercially curious, proactive and motivated by delivering tangible outcomes.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and driving workstreams with a high degree of autonomy.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using financial and market intelligence tools.
  • Proficiency with generative AI tools and technology-enabled ways of working to improve productivity and analysis.
  • Excited by the opportunity to join a growth-focused, acquisitive business where M&A plays a central role in corporate strategy.

This opportunity could be particularly attractive to individuals looking to transition from an advisory environment into an in-house Corporate Development role, while gaining exposure to the full transaction lifecycle from origination and execution through to integration and value creation.
