Job Purpose :-

To oversee engineering and maintenance operations across all hotel properties, ensuring efficient functioning of facilities, equipment, energy management, safety, and compliance with company standards.

Key Responsibilities: -

• Oversee engineering and maintenance operations across all hotel units.
• Develop annual budgets, maintenance plans, and cost-control strategies.
• Ensure preventive maintenance of buildings, machinery, equipment, and hotel facilities.
• Monitor energy, fuel, and water consumption and implement conservation measures.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct periodic hotel visits to review engineering operations and guide Chief Engineers.
• Monitor engineering expenses, vendor contracts, repairs, and maintenance costs.
• Ensure compliance with company SOPs, quality standards, and audit requirements.
• Implement energy-efficient and environmentally friendly systems.
• Lead, train, and develop engineering teams across all properties.
• Coordinate with corporate departments, hotel management, vendors, and government authorities.
• Monitor departmental performance and implement improvements in productivity and service standards.

Experience :-

• 10 -12 years of overall experience.
• 5 - 6 years of experience as Chief Engineer in a 5-star hotel.
• Experience in hotel engineering, maintenance, budgeting, and energy conservation.

Skills & Competencies ; -

• Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and civil engineering.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
• Budgeting, cost control, and computer proficiency.
• Problem-solving, planning, and decision-making abilities.
• Customer-focused, proactive, and detail-oriented approach.
