- Provide overall direction and management of the organisation’s day-to-day operations.
- Establish performance standards, business objectives and operational targets.
- Direct and endorse policies designed to achieve organisational goals and maximise profitability, productivity and efficiency.
- Monitor the financial and operational performance of the organisation and implement corrective strategies where required.
- Consult with departmental managers and senior staff regarding operations, finance, sales, marketing, staffing, equipment requirements and business performance.
- Prepare and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, business plans and management reports.
- Review revenue, expenditure, profitability, cash flow and other key financial performance indicators.
