Evaluate and review staff performance and capabilities at both corporate and hotel-unit level; prepare, implement, monitor and continuously improve training and development programs in direct partnership with General Managers and department heads. - Agree role requirements and selection criteria with the hiring manager, and present evidence-based shortlists with clear recommendations
- Monitor routine property recruitment through agreed standards and authority
- Review organisation structures, approved headcounts, staffing requests and succession risks with General Managers and Finance
- Establish and conduct a consistent performance and competency review process for corporate and hotel-unit employees
- Assess training needs at the corporate office and each hotel unit using staff reviews, competency checks, onboarding needs, guest-service feedback, operational issues and management input
- Develop an annual training and development plan and practical monthly calendars for corporate teams and each hotel unit
- Personally deliver orientation, interviewing, supervisory, people-management and other appropriate programs
- Track planned versus completed training, follow up missed sessions and ensure new or absent employees receive required learning
- Ensure company orientation, role-specific onboarding and new-joiner follow-up are completed
Required experience and capabilities :
- At least five years of progressive HR experience, including two years leading hotel HR activities or a substantial hotel HR function, with experience in four- or five-star hotels or resorts
- Proven ability to manage recruitment independently, including supervisory and management vacancies, and to assess candidates beyond their CV presentation
- Practical experience evaluating staff, preparing training programs, coordinating delivery with hotel management, monitoring implementation and assessing workplace results
- Experience in employee relations, performance-review processes, onboarding and employee development; working knowledge of Indonesian employment requirements
- Sound judgment, confidentiality, strong organisation and follow-through
- Professional English and Indonesian communication; confident use of spreadsheets, HR systems and digital tools
- A relevant HR, Hospitality, Business, Psychology or related qualification, or equivalent professional experience
- Willingness to be based at the Jakarta Corporate Office and travel regularly to hotel and resort units
