Corporate Lawyer

Responsibilities

Legal

• Legal Consultation: Advising individuals or corporations on legal matters and rights.
• Contract Drafting and Review: Preparing legal documents, employment contracts, or business agreements.
• Negotiation: Mediating disputes or debt restructuring before resorting to litigation.
• Litigation / Court Representation: Representing clients in legal proceedings, defending case and pleading in court.
• Support the Head of Corporate Secretary and Legal on legal matters as assigned.

Mortgage Registration

• Manage and coordinate mortgage registration for land and houses with the Land Department and other relevant authorities.
• Prepare and review mortgage agreements and supporting documents.
• Track registration timelines and follow up with relevant authorities to ensure timely completion.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Laws or related field.
• At least 5 years of working experience in legal work or mortgage/land
• Holder of a valid Lawyer's License
• Strong skills in drafting and reviewing business contracts, as well as negotiation and dispute mediation
• Experience or knowledge of mortgage registration processes with the Land Department or related authorities (a plus)
• Able to represent the company in court proceedings
• Detail-oriented with strong communication and negotiation skills
