What they need
- Advise on corporate legal matters, labor relations, and taxation
- Draft contracts, review legal compliance, and represent company in legal proceedings.
- Ensure company adherence to regulatory requirements and risk mitigation on corporate governance, business structure, and strategic decisions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and corporate documents such as partnership, supplier, and confidentiality agreements.
- Advise on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Oversee corporate filings, regulatory submissions, and legal documentation.
- Collaborate with senior management to address legal issues that may arise in day-to-day business operations.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with corporate governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay current with changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards that may affect the business.
- Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws; Must be a member of the Philippine Bar.
- Proven work experience in corporate law, with a focus on business transactions, governance, compliance, and contract management.
- Prior experience as in-house counsel or in a corporate law firm is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, business regulations, and compliance matters.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and contract review skills.
- Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
