Job Description

Romano Law PLLC is a dynamic law firm headquartered in the heart of New York City. We provide comprehensive legal services to entrepreneurs, startups, and creative professionals across various industries. Our team is dedicated to delivering exceptional legal solutions tailored to our clients' unique needs, while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.

YOU ARE:

• An attorney with over 10 years of corporate transactional experience.
• Licensed to practice in New York, California, Florida, Texas or elsewhere in the U.S. or the UK, with a portable book of business.
• A natural leader, experienced in structuring and negotiating M&A transactions.
• Practical, prepared and resourceful with excellent people skills.
• An efficient and effective communicator, in plain-English.
• Conscientious, thorough and highly accountable.
• Motivated to learn and improve. Receptive to constructive feedback.
• Polished, poised, energetic with a strong work ethic.
• Always responsive and often proactive, keeping your clients (and team) well-informed.
• A portable book of business of at least $500,000.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD:

• Lead the Associates and report to the Managing Partner.
• Supervise lawyers, paralegals, law clerks, and externs on your team.
• Lead by example: with your diligence, drive for success and positive attitude.
• Continue to develop your own book of business (currently over $500K) and help drive the continued growth of the firm.

• Total Compensation – $250,000 – $750,000 (based on experience, book of business, and performance).
