Corporate Support Engineer

Job Summary

The Corporate Support Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to corporate employees and ensuring the day-to-day operation of business systems covering hardware, software, network, CCTV, data communication, and telephony.

The position provides prompt technical support through phone calls and emails, coordinates reported problems and user requirements with the proper channels, and provides sound and practical solutions. The role also requires staying abreast of the latest technical trends, new products, suppliers, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for office software, hardware, network, and telephony.
• Ensure that office tools are properly configured and working properly.
• Coordinate and communicate corporate users' requirements, requests, reported problems, and issues through the proper channels.
• Provide sound and practical solutions to reported problems.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in providing corporate support, including software, hardware, networking (cables, wireless, storage), and telephony.
• Provide daily reports and monitor data room temperature and CCTV status.
• Oversee the daily performance of all corporate systems.
• Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operations and resolve reported problems or issues.
• Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
• Set up equipment for employee use and perform or ensure proper installation of cables, operating systems, and appropriate software.
• Set up local area networks, including both cable and wireless networking.
• Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, peripheral equipment, and network systems.
• Perform network incident and problem analysis, monitor tasks and network management systems, and provide resolutions to end users.
• Prioritize and troubleshoot complex problems and provide complete solutions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Maintain records of data communication transactions, problems, remedial actions taken, and installation activities.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php19,000.00 per month
