About the Role

We're looking for a Learning & Development Officer to build and run our people development programs from our head office in General Santos City. You will own the employee journey from onboarding through ongoing skills training, making sure our club teams and head office staff have the knowledge and confidence to perform well and grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

Onboarding

• Plan and run new hire orientation and onboarding programs for club and head office staff
• Prepare onboarding kits, schedules, and welcome materials
• Track new hire progress and gather feedback during the first 30/60/90 days

Training Needs Analysis

• Identify skill gaps through surveys, interviews, performance data, member feedback, and manager input
• Work with department heads and club managers to align training with business goals
• Prioritize and recommend training initiatives based on needs

Training Delivery

• Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, workshops, and refreshers (e.g., customer service, sales, club operations, company policies)
• Coordinate external trainers, vendors, and training schedules across clubs
• Keep attendance records and training logs up to date

Training Module Development

• Design and develop training modules, manuals, presentations, job aids, and e-learning content
• Keep training materials current as processes, tools, and brand standards change

Evaluation & Reporting

• Measure training effectiveness through assessments, feedback forms, and post-training performance
• Prepare regular reports on training participation, outcomes, and improvement areas
• Recommend and apply improvements to existing programs

Other Duties

• Support career development and upskilling plans
• Handle training budgets and logistics
• Perform other tasks related to learning and development as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field
• At least 1–3 years of experience in Learning & Development, training, HR, or a similar role (fresh graduates with relevant training experience are welcome to apply)
• Experience designing training content and facilitating sessions
• Familiarity with training needs analysis and training evaluation methods
• Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in MS Office / Google Workspace, especially presentation tools. Experience with LMS or e-learning tools (e.g., Canva, Articulate) is an advantage.
• Willing to travel occasionally to club branches for training
• Based in or willing to relocate to General Santos City
• Able to start immediately
