Correctional Facility Data Entry Technicians

**Data Entry Technicians Needed. Technician shall perform such duties as assigned in pharmacy area which will enhance the services provided by the department.**

• Transcribes orders to profiles for check by pharmacists.
• Runs prescriptions using barcode system.
• Communicates questions or problems with facility staff, physicians, and pharmacists, documenting discrepancies in orders.
• Uses fax server system.
• Maintains fax machines.
• Maintains accurate error/complaint logs.
• Maintains accurate customer files, which include birth date, active medications and drug allergies.
• Forwards IV orders to RNs.
• Organizers one's available time to meet deadlines/quotas.
• Provides other departments with needed information (Billing, MAR, Packers).
• Performs other duties as requested.
• Maintains neat and clean personal appearance.
• Maintains neat and clean work area.
• Maintains the confidentiality of all patient and company information
