Senior Outside Correspondent Account Executive
Remote | Exempt | Base salary: $5,000 per month + monthly commission

About the Role

theLender is launching our new Correspondent Channel, and we're looking for an experienced Senior Outside Correspondent Account Executive to help build it from the ground up. In this role, you'll develop and grow strong relationships with Correspondent lenders (within your assigned territory, if applicable), serving as their go-to expert on our products, guidelines, and pricing. If you thrive on building partnerships, delivering exceptional service, and growing a book of business, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Promote theLender's products to Correspondent lenders, bringing in new accounts and growing existing ones
• Guide prospective partners through our approval process
• Train Correspondent lenders on our Lendi portal, including submitting new loans, conditions, and closing packages
• Set clear expectations for our loan process and turn times across submission, underwriting, conditions, and funding
• Present loan programs, review loan scenarios, and provide pricing
• Monitor pipeline performance daily, tracking volume, fallout, and loan quality
• Stay in regular contact with your accounts to provide training, review performance, and generate new business
• Keep account information current and accurate in our database
• Partner with our operations and underwriting teams to resolve questions and concerns while setting realistic expectations
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience, making sure partner needs are met and issues are resolved quickly

What You Bring

• A proven track record of success in mortgage sales
• Strong knowledge of Non-QM, DSCR, and QM loan products
• Confident presentation skills with both small and large audiences
• The ability to prospect and win new business
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Sharp analytical, judgment, and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• A self-motivated, proactive approach and a talent for building lasting business relationships
