Cosmetics Batching Processor

The Cosmetic Batching Processor is an integral part of our production team and will be responsible for the overall color cosmetics batching process. This will include weighing, mixing ingredients, monitoring equipment and the manufacturing process and leading the batching team. The ideal candidate will be attentive, knowledgeable, and have a desire to work with other team members to develop the best processes and products.

Qualifications

• Manufacturing plant producing color cosmetics
• This job requires climbing stairs and ladders and also lifting (within OSHA guidelines).
• Minimum of Associates.
• 1-3 years of experience working in manufacturing.
• Self starter with the ability to multitask and work independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing operations in safe and effective manner.
• Recording information, such as ingredients, weights, and temperature, and inputting into database.
• Monitor and control pressure and temperature of batching process equipment.
• Operate plant equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Handle, transport and process of raw materials safely.
• Document plant processes and record batching data.
• Operation, detailed cleaning and sanitizing of batching equipment.
• Troubleshooting issues with production equipment.
• Raw Material inventory record keeping.
• Daily equipment upkeep and maintenance.

Education:

• Minimum of an Associates degree
• 2-3 years job knowledge
• Proficient in microsoft and the ability to learn data keeping programs
• netsuite knowledge a plus

Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
