Job Description

John Jay Beauty College, Inc. is looking for a full time position that would allow you to work as a Cosmetology Instructor. The day time shift works well with family schedules. You will be teaching classes and workshops to our students and helping to build a positive and supportive environment around them. You will be responsible for creating an inclusive learning environment for our students, teaching Cosmetology courses, and helping to build relationships with students. We are looking for someone who is passionate about creating lasting relationships with our students and building a positive community around them.

Qualifications

• Passion for teaching and helping people learn new skills
• Passion for good health and wellness practices
• Ability to connect with people on an emotional level
• Ability to think on your feet
• Team player mentality
• Cosmetology license required, Instructor license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes at John Jay Beauty College.
• Follow curriculum for classes, including lesson plans, assessments, and other materials.
• Help create an environment where students can grow as individuals.
• Be creative in the learning methods used to reach the students.
• Work with your team cohesively.
• Help create a positive community around students by building relationships with youtubers, social media marketing, email marketing, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
