Cosmetology Instructor

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Licensed Cosmetology INSTRUCTOR to inspire and educate aspiring beauty professionals. In this role, you will deliver comprehensive training in a variety of cosmetology disciplines, including hair styling, coloring, esthetic treatments, nail care, and barbering. Your expertise will help students develop their skills, confidence, and industry knowledge, preparing them for successful careers in the beauty industry. Duties

• Deliver engaging lessons covering a broad spectrum of cosmetology topics such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, facials, makeup application, body waxing, and dermabrasion techniques
• Develop detailed lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and industry best practices
• Demonstrate practical skills including hair styling, coloring, threading, esthetic laser treatments, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage
• Supervise students during practical sessions to ensure safety and proper technique
• Assess student progress through evaluations, practical demonstrations, and written assessments
• Maintain a positive classroom environment that encourages creativity, professionalism, and continuous learning
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate new techniques like aesthetic treatments and nail care into teaching modules

Requirements

• Proven experience in cosmetology with expertise in areas such as hair coloring, hair extensions, barbering, facials, makeup application, nail care, and aesthetic treatments
• Strong knowledge of anatomy relevant to cosmetology procedures and body treatments
• Prior classroom or training experience in adult education or cosmetology instruction preferred
• Ability to effectively plan lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and skill levels
• Certification or licensure in cosmetology or related fields as required by local regulations
• Familiarity with advanced techniques including dermabrasion, laser treatments, trigger point therapy, and deep tissue massage is a plus
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and engage students in a professional setting
