About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading provider of professional skincare and aesthetic treatment solutions, partnering with skincare clinics, aesthetic practices, and beauty professionals across South Africa. They are seeking an experienced and passionate Cosmeceutical Skincare Trainer to join their growing team.

This role is ideal for a qualified Somatologist or Beauty Specialist who thrives on educating professionals, sharing clinical expertise, and driving exceptional treatment outcomes. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering training, supporting customers, and ensuring the effective implementation of professional skincare protocols throughout the client network.

Key Responsibilities

Education & Training

• Deliver engaging online and face-to-face product, ingredient, and treatment training to skincare professionals and clinic partners.
• Facilitate both theoretical and practical training sessions.
• Develop, maintain, and update training manuals, presentations, educational resources, and supporting documentation.
• Manage and administer the company's online training platform.
• Ensure all educational content aligns with current treatment protocols, best practices, and industry standards.
• Assess training effectiveness and provide ongoing coaching and support.

Clinical Support

• Provide professional guidance on skin concerns, treatment planning, and product selection.
• Support customers with protocol implementation, troubleshooting, and advanced treatment applications.
• Assist with the successful launch of new products and treatment offerings.
• Remain informed on industry developments, ingredient innovations, clinical studies, and competitor activity.
• Contribute to the development and refinement of treatment protocols and educational content.
• Conduct treatment demonstrations and support selected case-study initiatives where required.

Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with clinics, therapists, and healthcare professionals.
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing ongoing technical and clinical support.
• Respond to customer enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Collaborate closely with the sales team to enhance customer engagement, retention, and business growth.

Brand & Marketing Support

• Represent the organisation at training events, industry workshops, conferences, exhibitions, and product launches.
• Support educational webinars, digital learning initiatives, and in-clinic training activities.
• Ensure all training and educational material is aligned with brand standards and messaging.
• Provide market feedback and insights regarding customer needs, industry trends, and training opportunities.

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and customer interactions.
• Prepare training reports and provide feedback on client competency and implementation progress.
• Manage and update educational resources and training documentation.
• Coordinate and issue certificates upon successful completion of training programmes.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

• Diploma in Somatology, Aesthetics, or Beauty Therapy ( non-negotiable ).

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Somatologist, Aesthetic Therapist, or Beauty Specialist.
• Previous training, facilitation, or education experience within a professional skincare environment is highly advantageous.
• Experience within the cosmeceutical, aesthetic, dermatology, or professional skincare industry is preferred.
