Cost Accountant

About the role

The Cost Accountant is responsible for inventory accounting functions and in supervising and coordinating the Quantity Accuracy Program (QAP).

Key responsibilities

• Performs quarterly R&D lot reviews
• Performs quarterly random verification of on-hold lots or inventories for proper disposition
• Responsible for the monthly Wafer Bank Foundry lots review
• Conducts verification of monthly foundry credit status with engineering team
• Performs monthly freight accrual
• Reviews and approves Materials Inventory Scrap Review request in E-Forms
• Monitors lot(s) with negative quantity(ies) and coordinates with Logistics team the required Oracle transaction
• Prepares monthly BU Reclass for Inventory-related accounts
• Prepares monthly tape & reel analysis
• Prepares monthly RM consumption analysis

About you

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy
• At least 1 year relevant work experience in Inventory
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate with people in various levels of organization
• Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills
• Accuracy and attention to details
• Takes initiative to make improvements
• Cooperate and collaborate with colleagues
• Good sense of professionalism and confidentiality
• Working knowledge of Philippine local finance and accounting practices
