Cost Accountant

PRIMELUXE is looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Accountant to join our growing team!

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare and analyze product costing and cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Monitor and analyze inventory costs, variances, and movements.
• Conduct cost analysis and identify significant cost variances.
• Assist in monthly closing and preparation of financial reports.
• Reconcile inventory and cost-related accounts.
• Review purchase costs, freight, duties, and other expenses affecting product costs.
• Analyze production, purchasing, and operational costs.
• Prepare cost reports and provide recommendations to management.
• Monitor standard and actual costs and investigate variances.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of cost and inventory transactions.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Warehouse, Operations, and Finance teams regarding cost and inventory concerns.
• Support internal and external audits as needed.
• Perform other accounting and cost-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA is an advantage but not required.
• At least 2–4 years of experience in cost accounting, inventory accounting, or general accounting.
• Experience in food trading, manufacturing, distribution, or FMCG is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of inventory costing, COGS, cost variance analysis, and financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP systems.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month
