Cost Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Build comprehensive financial models (NPV, IRR, Payback Period) for project proposals.
• Conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses.
• Evaluate margins across different departments to identify cost drivers and areas experiencing low margin.
• Perform market research and competitor benchmarking to evaluate pricing structures for new and existing services (see specific esearch tasks below)

Specific research tasks: the SD/CA will gather and organize the following pertinent data for each project:

-regulatory framework from DOH

• required accreditation, and from which govt agencies

• case rates and subsidies from Philhealth

• needed facilities (room, space requirements, etc

• needed equipment

• estimated census based on published prevalence data, research papers, etc.

• materials and consumables, and costs of each

• required personnel, training, certifications

• market benchmarking in terms of pricing and service packages

• other relevant info

• Partner with project leads to establish financial milestones and risk mitigation strategies for rollouts.

Qualifications:

• Degree: Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. CPA not required

• Experience Level: At least 3 to 5 vears of progressive experience in francial analysis cost accountino or business development.

• Prior experience working within the healthcare sector is a distinct advantage, but not required
