Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform and maintain accurate product costing for packaging and printing products.
• Prepare timely pricing computations for new and existing products.
• Maintain and update costing records and trackers.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to gather data for accurate costing.
• Monitor and analyze cost variances in materials, labor, and overhead.
• Prepare inventory reports and ensure accurate stock valuation.
• Reconcile inventory balances and assist in physical inventory counts.
• Identify process improvements and strengthen controls related to costing and inventory.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or service industry.
• Knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and attention to detail skills.
