Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

·         Perform monthly closing activities, particularly in the area of inventory accounting, which includes reconciling inventory sub-ledgers with GL, ensure inventory transactions are all properly captured, performing standard cost roll up on quarterly basis and prepare reports for inventory provision and aging on a monthly basis.

·         Work closely with operation team to carry out stock take on a quarterly basis.

·         Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.

·         Prepare management reports and financial analysis to support decision-making.

·         Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies.

·         Drive process improvements and implement best practices in financial operations and reporting.

·         Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.

Requirements:-

·         Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) strongly preferred.

·         Minimum 5-6 years’ experience in finance/accounting, preferably in manufacturing sector.

·         Strong technical knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting, and closing processes.

·         Hands-on experience in inventory accounting and cost analysis is preferred.
