Cost Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• SAP S/4HANA knowledge is mandatory, preferably SAP CO / Product Costing.
• Prepare and maintain product-wise / SKU-wise costing and cost sheets.
• Perform standard costing, actual costing and cost variance analysis.
• Analyse material, labour, overhead, production and conversion costs.
• Review BOM, routing, activity rates and cost components.
• Support month-end closing, cost allocation and variance reporting.
• Analyse RM, WIP and Finished Goods inventory valuation.
• Prepare product profitability, margin and management costing reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and cost reduction initiatives.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Supply Chain and Finance teams for cost analysis.
• Provide costing schedules and explanations for internal and statutory audits.
• Identify costing-related issues and support improvement of costing processes.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting and Management Accounting.
• Hands-on experience in Product Costing and Variance Analysis.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA knowledge.
• Good knowledge of inventory valuation and costing.
• Strong analytical and Excel skills.
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Profile

CMA-qualified candidates with 35 years of practical costing experience and strong SAP S/4HANA exposure. CA-qualified candidates with relevant costing experience may also be considered.

Qualification

• CMA (Cost & Management Accountant) Mandatory
• CA candidates may also be considered, preferably with strong costing experience.
