Cost Accountant

• Analyze and validate cost data to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, enabling informed decision-making.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and variance analysis that identify trends and provide actionable insights for management.
• Collaborate with production teams to evaluate and optimize cost efficiency in manufacturing processes and product pricing.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory and production costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and identify cost-saving opportunities.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus for advanced roles.
• Professional certification such as CMA (Certified Management Accountant) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with cost accounting software and ERP systems, demonstrating proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
