Cost Accountant

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare, monitor, and analyze inventory accounts, project costs, and other financial reports.
• Develop and maintain accurate records of all costs associated with importation and production, including landed costs, labor, and overhead.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in the ERP system.
• Perform bank reconciliations and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Perform account reconciliations, prepare journal entries and accruals, and assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.
• Monitor and reconcile general ledger accounts, including inventory, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts as assigned.
• Support inventory reconciliation activities and collaborate with internal stakeholders during stock counts, cycle counts, and audit procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency improvements.
• Recommend and implement appropriate accounting methods, policies, and procedures.
• Perform other corporate accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification is an advantage.
• At least three (3) years of relevant work experience in accounting or a similar role.
• Proficient in accounting software and ERP systems, with an understanding of automation and process improvements.
• Self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Possesses good moral character and strong teamwork skills.
