Cost Accountant ( FSPM)

Hands-on Senior Cost Accountant responsible for standard costing, BOM and routing governance,

manufacturing variance analysis, inventory valuation, and costing support for production operations.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and partnering closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply

Chain teams.

· Manage and maintain standard costing for manufactured products.

· Review and validate BOMs, routings, and cost roll-ups.

· Develop machine rates, direct labour rates, assembly rates, and overhead absorption rates.

· Perform monthly material, labour, overhead, and production variance analysis.

· Analyse manufacturing costs and recommend cost improvement initiatives.

· Support inventory valuation, stock provisions, and WIP accounting.

· Support month-end closing and costing-related reconciliations.

· Partner with Production and Engineering to validate labour standards and machine utilisation.

· Support budgeting, forecasting, and annual standard cost updates.

· Maintain costing data and controls within the ERP system.

· Support stock counts, audits, and inventory-related compliance matters.

· Drive process improvements and strengthen costing controls.

· Provide costing analysis and management reports for decision-making.

· Support the Financial Controller on manufacturing finance projects and ad hoc assignments.

· Handle full set account of a newly setup subsidiary.
