Cost Accounting Manager

Position:Cost Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, control, and oversee cost accounting operations to ensure alignment with company policies, accounting standards, and internal control procedures.

• Monitor and control the usage of raw materials and production expenses to stay within the allocated budget.

• Analyze product cost and expenses by cost center to provide accurate and useful data for management decision-making.

• Prepare key financial reports, including:

  • Cost analysis by product
  • Comparative cost reports
  • Administrative and production expense reports
  • Annual budget plans and business targets

• Supervise, assign, and evaluate subordinates to ensure efficient and effective operations.

• Guide, motivate, and ensure the team complies with company regulations and cost control policies.

• Continuously develop team competency in cost analysis and cost improvement through coaching and training.

• Coordinate and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments and external agencies.

• Ensure compliance with relevant quality and safety management systems such as ISO 9001, BRC, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Halal standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost accounting or relevant areas.
• Strong background in manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office; experience with SAP is a plus.
• Strong knowledge and skills in cost analysis, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
