Cost Accounting Manager

Job Summary: Oversee and control the company's cost management and accounting functions by analyzing expenses, managing budgets, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and driving cost efficiency across departments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analyze historical cost data to identify expense trends and develop effective cost reduction strategies.
2. Manage and review the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts; monitor actual performance and report on budget variances.
3. Supervise all accounting functions, including Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger, Cost Accounting, and Inventory Management.
4. Lead cross-functional decision-making processes related to cost management and control.
5. Oversee the recording, valuation, and checking of company fixed assets, ensuring strict compliance with accounting standards.
6. Ensure accurate and timely month-end closing of manufacturing costs and calculation of Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
7. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency by streamlining processes, reducing rework, and minimizing data-related errors.
8. Maintain clear and professional communication with external auditors during audit processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 7–10 years of experience in accounting and cost management, with 3–5 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Proven experience in the large-scale manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Cost Accounting, Inventory Management, and COGS calculation.
• Proficient in using ERP systems (SAP is highly preferred) and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken. (Reporting to Japanese Management)

Monthly Compensation: Base Salary + Position Allowance +Phone Allowance

Language Allowance (TOEIC):

• Score 600 - 699: 1,500 THB / month

• Score 700+: 2,000 THB / month

Annual Bonus: Total 5 – 6 Months (1-month Fixed + 4-4.5 months Variable)

Provident Fund: Flexible contribution up to 15% (Eligible from Day 1)

-Company Match: Up to 9% (Maximum rate applied after 9 years of service)

Working Days: Monday – Friday (07:50 – 17:10)
