Cost Accounting Manager

The Cost Accounting Manager is a full-time, hybrid role based in Biñan, with flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. This role oversees cost accounting processes, including standard cost updates, cost variance analysis, and inventory costing for manufacturing operations. The Cost Accounting Manager prepares and reviews cost-related journal entries, reconciliations, and schedules to support timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual closing. The role collaborates with operations, procurement, and finance teams to analyze production costs, margins, and efficiencies, and to recommend cost control and improvement measures. The Cost Accounting Manager also contributes to budgeting and forecasting, supports internal and external audits, and ensures compliance with company policies and relevant accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory costing.
• Experience preparing and analyzing financial statements and related management reports.
• Proficiency in recording and reviewing journal entries (accounting) and performing account reconciliations.
• Well-developed analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
• Solid understanding of finance principles, budgeting, and forecasting in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification is an advantage.
• Experience in electronics, semiconductor, or manufacturing industries is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel. Experience with SAP S4 HANA, Power BI, or other finance applications or visualization tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setup, collaborate across teams, and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and commitment to ethical, accurate, and compliant financial reporting.
