Cost Analyst Engineer (Civil Engineer)

About the role

Operating within the Internal Audit Department, the Cost Analyst Engineer performs independent, data-driven audits of project site expenditures, verifies civil accomplishment reports against actual Bill of Quantities (BOQs), tracks heavy equipment logistics/fuel burn rates, and audits Service Center repair processes. The role ensures full operational compliance with corporate Purchase Order (PO) rules and the company's ISO 9001:2015 Operations, Logistics, and Service Center Procedure Manuals.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site-level technical and financial audits to reconcile physical accomplishment (earthworks, concrete, steel) against subcontractor billings and BOQ baselines
• Reconcile heavy equipment hour meters, idle time, fuel issuance, and per-kilometer/hour consumption benchmarks to prevent operational losses or fuel leaks
• Perform independent audits of Service Center work orders, spare parts consumption, preventive maintenance completion, and repair downtime
• Verify site and Service Center compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standard operating procedures, documentation controls, and PO pre-approval protocols
• Prepare independent audit findings, risk registers, and variance reports directly for the executive leadership

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE)
• Registered Civil Engineer
• 5+ years of experience in project cost control, site engineering, BOQ auditing, or construction operational audit
• Advanced Excel data modeling
• Site measurement verification
• Heavy equipment tracking awareness
• ISO 9001:2015 QMS auditing principles
