Cost and Estimation Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Analyze RFQs, drawings, and technical specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates.
• Estimate costs for machining, sheet metal, welding, assembly, and surface treatment processes.
• Develop manufacturing process flow, setups, operations, tooling, and cycle time estimation.
• Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T for process planning and costing.
• Coordinate with suppliers for outsourced processes like EDM, grinding, coating, anodizing, plating, and heat treatment.
• Support process improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

• Knowledge of Machining, Sheet Metal, Welding, Assembly & Surface Treatment
• Strong understanding of GD&T and manufacturing drawings
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA & MS Office
• Knowledge of aerospace materials: Aluminium, Titanium, SS, Inconel & Composites
