We are looking for an experienced Cost & Estimation Engineer – Substation EPC Projects to join our team in Dubai.

The role covers both tender-stage cost estimation and post-award project cost control for HV/EHV AIS/GIS substation projects.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

▪ Prepare EPC cost estimates, tender budgets and pricing breakdowns for HV/EHV substation projects.

▪ Review BOQs, engineering drawings, technical specifications and tender documents.

▪ Evaluate equipment, material, subcontractor and construction costs.

▪ Develop project budgets, monitor expenditures and prepare cost forecasts.

▪ Analyze cost variances, identify financial risks and recommend cost optimization measures.

▪ Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Commercial and Project teams throughout the EPC project lifecycle.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

✓ Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.

✓ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cost estimation and project cost control.

✓ Proven experience in HV/EHV Substation EPC Projects is mandatory.

✓ Good understanding of GIS/AIS substations, transformers, HV equipment, electrical installation and associated civil works.

✓ Strong skills in BOQ analysis, tender pricing, budgeting, cost reporting and Excel.

✓ UAE/GCC power transmission project experience is highly preferred.

IMPORTANT

We are specifically looking for professionals with direct experience in electrical substation EPC projects.

General building construction or MEP cost experience alone will not meet the requirements.
