Key Responsibilities

• Budget Tracking: Establish cost baselines, monitor actual expenses versus budgets, and log commitments or accruals.
• Scrap control an audit process: Validate the scraps generates and the cost impacts associated with that
• Variance Analysis: Calculate cost deviations, identify unprofitable areas, and investigate budget overruns.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Prepare monthly financial report, and performance metrics for management.
• Change Control: Assess change orders and project scope shifts to update financial forecasts.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with procurement, project managers, and vendors to negotiate pricing and optimize expenditures.
• Follow up actions related to costs
• Overtime control and approval process
• Cost KPIs controls

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Engineering.
• Experience: 3 to 5+ years of cost management or project controls experience.
• Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems like SAP or Oracle. Industry bodies like AACE International provide professional guidance and standards for the role.
